During the National Tourism Summit, Maaspoort hosted a three-day conference on digitalisation and hospitality. The day started with reception and networking moments in the foyers, after which the programme moved on to plenary sessions in our halls. This variety worked nicely: sharp in content when it was needed, with enough space in between to really talk to each other.
What made this edition extra dynamic was that the programme did not stay within four walls. In between, participants went into town to explore Venlo and attend sessions at external locations. In this way, the surroundings became part of the day and the conference was given an extra layer, with inspiration in places you would not normally see in a programme.
The closing event brought everything back together in a place you won't easily forget: a networking reception on the back stage. So the day ended not with a standard drink, but with a setting that made conversations just a little looser and more energetic.
