Watch during a rehearsal and master class
On Saturday 30 August, soprano Eva Maria Westbroek will give a masterclass to the finalists of the Viva Classic Vocal Contest. In this masterclass, Westbroek will prepare the finalists for the grand final a day later in Domani in Venlo.
Eva Maria Westbroek is the greatest opera singer in Dutch history. The diva climbed all the major international stages in the world of opera. In many leading roles, she celebrated success on the stage of the Wiener Staatsoper in Vienna, La Scala in Milan and the Metropolitan opera in New York, among others. On behalf of the organisation of the Viva Classic vocal contest, Sef Thissen says he is extremely proud that this world star is coming to Venlo.

The 5 finalists will receive a masterclass by Eva Maria Westbroek in the Frans Boermans hall in Maaspoort. You can be there. The Masterclass is open to the public.
Conditions
- Tickets are free but reservation is required.
- You take your seat in the stands and do not take part in the masterclass yourself.
- The young opera talents must concentrate during the masterclass, please respect the rehearsal/masterclass as a full performance.
The finalists will compete 31 August in Domani in Venlo for the 'Willy Caron Trophy', accompanied by a large orchestra conducted by Italian maestro Federico Santi, this is a Finale full of highlights. The winner of the competition will shine among internationally renowned soloists and receive a guest performance during the Viva Classic Live open-air concerts from 4 to 7 September.
