Resonanz brings Limburg and North Rhine-Westphalia together in a vibrant Euroregional programme. This is where classical and contemporary music and dance meet in surprising crossovers. A place for young culture makers who dare to experiment, innovate and connect. Resonanz is in full development - and the first promising projects have already started. The following projects are currently running:

Viva Classic Live - Vocal Contest

After an intensive selection process, 12 promising opera talents have been selected for the semi-finals of the Viva Classic Vocal Contest on 13 July in Theater Mönchengladbach. A diverse group of singers from top conservatoires in Limburg and NRW - all ready for the big stage.

This semi-final promises more than just competition: it will be a day full of inspiration, guts and musicality. In addition to their audition, the semi-finalists will have a unique opportunity to work with internationally established soprano Barbara Haveman. On Saturday August, the finalists will also receive an exclusive master class from opera diva Eva-Maria Westbroek. This master class, in our Frans Boermanszaal, is absolutely free to attend! The grand final is on Sunday afternoon, 31 August, in the former monastery church Domani in Venlo. Tickets can be bought for only €10. The winner? That one will get a high-profile guest performance during Viva Classic Live (4 to 7 September). The open-air concert full of internationally renowned soloists where thousands of visitors come together for an unforgettable musical experience.
